Genpower Australia were approached by McConnell Dowell, who required prime power from a diesel genset to a sand slurry pump at Glenelg beach that could withstand a full coastal environment with longevity in mind.

We engineered and supplied a turnkey solution based on PowerLink 400kVA canopied genset incorporated with sand and salt spray rated air filters and fittings, marine grade paint and custom in-house built skid base, together with electrical features such as 3-phase 400Amp PowerLock outlets, industrial switched outlets and CouplerTec electronic rustproofing system. The genset has been operating throughout the winter and returned to Genpower Australia for inspection and full service. There is literally no sign of rust.

Life is definitely good at the beach!
