  As a responsible corporate citizen Genpower Australia Pty Ltd is dedicated to protecting human health, natural resources, and the local global environment, in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1993.  This dedication reaches further than compliance with the law to encompass the integration of sound environmental practices into Genpower Australia Pty Ltd business decisions. In particular Genpower Australia Pty Ltd will strive to achieve the following:

     

1.      Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.

 

2.      Assign a responsible person for the environment in all areas of the company and ensure that all employees are aware of their individual responsibilities for acting in accordance with this policy.

 

3.      Practice effective prevention of pollution, giving top priority to waste prevention at the source, elimination or reduction of  wasted practices and recycling.

 

4.      Maintain communication with our local community and cooperate with legislators, regulators, and other organizations with an interest in our environmental performance.

 

 

This policy statement will be made available to all Genpower Australia Pty Ltd employees and the public.
